This month I will be planting my nasturtiums so that I can enjoy them in my salads for the summer, below is a nasturtium salad recipe.
Nasturtium Salad Recipe:
You’ll Need: 1 tsp Dijon mustard; 2 tsp Champagne vinegar; 3 TBSP olive oil; Salt and pepper to taste; 6 – 8 oz. mixed greens; 2-3 oz. edible nasturtium leaves and flowers (that haven’t been sprayed with insecticide)
To Make: Whisk mustard, vinegar, oil and salt and pepper until well blended. Add greens and nasturtium leaves and flowers. Toss. Serve with homemade bread or muffins.
